Just received an update email today from the club (may want to check your junk mail) but in short there’s a delay and is now looking at mid to late November.

Hi,
We wanted to give you an update on the new 2025/26 third shirt.
Demand has been incredible. This is now the highest-selling shirt in the club’s history, with over 2,500 ordered. Producing and shipping such a huge run is taking a little longer than we first expected.
The kits are now due to arrive with us in mid to late November. As soon as they land, we’ll turn them around and get every pre-order sent out (or ready for collection) quickly.
We’ll keep you updated on progress, including when the shipment leaves Italy at the end of October.
We know it’s frustrating to wait, and we’re genuinely sorry for the extra time this is taking.
We’re blown away by the support from our fans as always.

If Scotland launched a new strip tomorrow I would have very decent replica in my hands in a fortnight. When you have a volume of orders for a top that has already been produced and shipped, so design and templates are in place, how can it take 3 months to fulfil the next order 🤯

2,500 sales is great numbers, should have generated a pretty good profit and also a lot of good publicity.
Skids are a good band, not sure they have masses of fans worldwide though, although I may be wrong.
If The Pars were to do this every year with an album by a local band, imagine the amount of sales they could get from a Nazareth or Big Country themed shirt, both bands have sold tens of millions of records and are pretty big overseas.
Bohemians have been really successful in doing this over the years, Bob Marley, Thin Lizzy and Fontaines D.C. themed shirts have seen them go from selling a few hundred shirts per year to local fans to selling 20,000 to 30,000 shirts per season to new fans around the world.
Hopefully the marketing team can capitalise on this

Surely we need to be looking at a new supplier for next season after this. It’s a shambles, I’ll give the club a pass this season but they need this sorted going forward.

The fact that supporters, other than our own, bought it as well, probably skewed the numbers we thought would sell.
My mate and his brother, both Dundee Utd fans, and huge Skids fans bought one each. So hardly surprising that the club underestimated the demand.

You need to send a message about any issues to the proper channel, they won`t be picked up on the forum.

The email saying the order has been fulfilled, is the confirmation that the order is ready to collect in the shop. Her order will be sitting behind the counter.

First strip I`ve bought in years. Not a skids fan but love the design.

As said before would be good to have a Skids game. I`m sure it would be popular with Skids fans from all over if they could perform before the game and have a meet and greet.

From the club facebook page
“We are aware that the #DAFC website is currently down following the third kit re-launch. Our website provider is working to get it back online as soon as possible.
We apologise for the delay and will update supporters when this issue is resolved and when the third kits become available online. Thank you as always for your support 👏”

Just how popular is this strip when it`s still causing the website to crash half way through the season.
We need to capitalise on this, get the Nazareth, Big Country, Jethro Tull, Skids, Armoury Show album themed 3rd strips out, every season.
Maybe even a Barbara Dickson one, surely they could have the orders for that fulfilled by January/ February

Red-star-par makes a great point twice in this thread, i.e. the worldwide fan base of West Fife musicians could make a significant contribution to the club’s finances with the third strip over the next few years.
Nazareth still have a huge international fan base and a shirt based on the lightning motif of the Naz Naz Naz live album might sell well, with a Naz + Parz logo in the Naz font on the back of the shirt at the top.
Big Country’s classic dark blue of The Crossing album might also be good for a third strip, with the compass logo under the Gamdom logo and The Pars in The Crossing font (with first and last capital letter enlarged), and the “dreams stay with you” quote on the back above the number.
As for Skids, the diagonal green, red and blue crayon lines of The Absolute Games might be the next one to score with Jobson’s army of fans, as the design is already not too dissimilar to one of the warm-up shirts of recent years and the album title seems very appropriate.
