19-year-old midfielder Keith Bray believes Dunfermline have what it takes to climb the William Hill Championship table and challenge for a play-off place. Despite the Pars collecting only nine points from their opening nine league fixtures, Bray remains optimistic about the squad`s potential.
"I feel we are a young group and we just need that wee bit of experience and a wee bit of time to settle in," said Bray. "I feel like that`s us with a good amount of games under our belt as a team now and we`re only going to get better. So yeah, I definitely think we`ll be pushing up there for playoffs at least."
The midfielder, who joined from Inverness Caley Thistle in February, made his first start for the club in the goalless draw with Queen`s Park. He acknowledged the step up to Championship level: "The pace of the game is definitely higher and the standard of football is higher, so you have to be on your game all the time."

Manager Neil Lennon has voiced his disappointment at the scheduling of Dunfermline`s rearranged fixture against Airdrieonians, which threatens to create a gruelling run of games for his squad. The match has been moved to Tuesday, October 21, creating a challenging schedule.
"We`re not happy about that," said Lennon. "We felt the Airdrie game could have been moved a little bit later on down the line. We asked the question. But we didn`t get the answer we were looking for."
The Pars face four games in 13 days after the international break, with several key players away on international duty including defenders John Tod and Jeremiah Chilokoa-Mullen, goalkeeper Mason Munn, wing-back Shea Kearney and captain Alfons Amade.
