According to the Courier Bene does not need surgery on his hamstring injury. Instead he will have a course of injections which it is hoped will see him return around the start of December.

I agreed with you there but then I also think we have been looking better defensively without him in the team. I therefore hope we dont rush him back and that he has to earn his place like everyone else.

A bit harsh to say we have been looking better defensively without him, we have been defensively solid all season and although we have kept some clean sheets recently, it has also been against the 3 weakest attacks in the league.
He will have to earn his place back, although if we do play a 3 at the back, he is the best option in the middle of that I`d argue.

Based on current team and record, he won`t get back in until another injury.
It`s good that we have range iof options present, as for whatever reason we are still injury prone

Not based on facts, but the impression I have is that we seem to attract more injuries than others

I don’t think that’s good news. The injections just seem like a quick fix. Thst surely isn’t good in the long term just being a football player in general.
