I would like to thank Margaret and the staff who looked after everyone who came along to the Ayr screening on Friday night.
Thanks to the club for trying something different, the free pint was appreciated, good to watch the game in the company of fellow pars fans .

Good on the club trying new things but the bar service puts me off going to Legends.
They make no effort to track who has been waiting longest and it`s just a rammy at the bar with the most aggressive folk getting served first.
A few years ago there was an old chap, must`ve been mid 80`s stood at the bar for about 15 minutes and nobody taking any notice. I went up and got his pint and a bag of crisps for him. Folk jumping infront of him and getting served by staff that had zero awareness.
Made me really disappointed how selfish people are. Should be looking after our vulnerable and elderly.

Genuine question. If we`ve gone to the expense of getting Sky Sports in before the game on a Saturday, why don`t we have the commentary on?
I must be getting old, and my hearing is definitely not what it was, but quite like a pint and a chat before the game. Instead we`ve got a DJ blaring tunes - too loudly.
Even when the Ryder Cup was on, it was drowned out by the music, which seemed bizarre.
No offense to the DJ at all, just questioning the atmosphere we`re trying to cultivate in the bar and understand what people`s preferences are pre-game?

Few thoughts
There was no DJ on when I went into the Queen`s Park game.
TVs on silent is the norm in nearly every bar.
When bars get busy it no longer becomes a case of fairness in serving, staff are that busy that whoever is in front of them gets served, it`s a volume game after all, staff in legends seem pretty fair to me when dealing with manageable queues but at some point you`ve just got to serve as many people as quickly as you can.

Kind of knew I`d get a snippy response. Totally agree the bar staff are hard working and seem fair and do their best. Not sure why anyone took a negative view on them.
There`s been a DJ on every Saturday home game this season I`ve been to. I`m not sure if your point was saying I`m wrong or just that the one game you went to Legends there wasn`t?
Volume down `may` be more common (certainly not in all bars) but choosing then to blare music is then a further choice and not something done in `nearly every bar`.
Out of interest, what would your preference be on the occasion you roll up?

The DJ should be binned on match days, shouting at the person next to you is not my idea of fun. As a compromise just turn it down a bit. Apparently there was a survey and I am someone who goes to legends every home game I heard of no survey.

That’s not what’s happened here. Legends was opened up last Friday so supporters could watch the Ayr game. Of course it had sound on for it. That was the whole point. The club did something similar for an away game to Morton (either last season or the one before). It was in the Purvis Suite. Again big TV and commentary by the BBC.
Some folk are using this thread to highlight issues on regular match days, which has been brought up before now. I remember the email with the survey asking about matchday experience - it was a while ago. No idea if they took the results forward. I don’t like the loud music either and I’d also prefer to hear the sports news or whatever is showing on the screens - but then it might be too loud for some folk (or too quiet for others).
