Do season ticket holders have to express an interest or are you contacted if successful, then there’s another draw if you’re not wanting it?

Absolutely ridiculous that a team at this level, who sold the national stadium not too long ago, cant provide more that 250 tickets for away fans. You could fit that many inside PJ Molloys

You need to register/request to be in the ballot.

The setup lasy years for TV coverage from my own experience was far from ideal.
No connection, almost pitch level so can`t get a decent view of the game and right in with the fans too so may be tricky.
However, that may have changed in the last 12 months.

I agree with the point Rigger Al makes, with such a low attendance can we not have this game streamed.
We took quite a lot to Hampden the last time we played them and it was a nonsense to allow the club to have such a small capacity.
Looks like I am going to miss out when I would have gone through to it!

I`m working with Queens Park on their streaming platform.
They will have resources/facilities - but not streaming very often
however, the issue is that it is a blocked saturday so only available to overseas subscribers (for both clubs)

Games sell out over the country every weekend. people miss out on tickets. For the 2 games a season it will happen to us its quite entitled attitude to expect people to bend over backwards to accomodate us when the position has been known for about 18months.
I certainly dont see how Edinburgh City can add pitchside barriers to allow fans to stand and watch games but QP cant but thats their prerogative. even more baffling when we are literally in the shadow if a 50,000 capacity stadium.
Let hope our last away game of the season is a big season defining fixture.

I don’t think anyone’s expecting clubs to bend over backwards for us or anyone else but it’s really backwards thinking from Queens Park if they have any ambition at all to take the cash from the SFA and move into a training ground and lose huge amounts of money from potential revenue.
Any fan of Queen’s park will be thinking they are destined just to be in League 1 and 2 for the next decades as that is what they are budgeting for.

So you can’t see how Edinburgh City can add barriers but QP can’t , maybe have a look at the two grounds and area available and it will click.

Queens Park must be incredibly poorly run. They got a fair amount of cash selling Hampden and all they have to show for it is a ridiculous stand at Lesser Hampden. What`s going on?

Good piece on the goings on at Queen`s Park here. I`m not really a fan of Haughey, I`d imagine he will leave them high and dry after stripping any assets he can

If they get a big team in the cup they’ll either ask to play at their ground or another club’s stadium I suspect to satisfy demand for tickets.
Being unable to accommodate our travelling support is farcical.

Did anyone get an acknowledgement email? I don`t think it says there would be, but I`m used to getting them in situations like this. I had the screen with the link so not too worried, just curious. Better UX if there was.

The SFA with the money from the world cup are proposing to buy Lesser Hampden from Queens Park , and allow them to play there or at Hampden , an investigation required if those goes ahead .

You can`t just move games now VEE. Maybe if the police get involved but not just to get more punters in.
There needs to be a full fraud investigation into Haughey by the way. The way it`s been done, with his City group at the centre of things, reads like a bad mafia novel.

"You can`t just move games now VEE. Maybe if the police get involved but not just to get more punters in."
I wasn`t aware - not something that I would keep up with.
Does the SFA not have authority to allow a change of venue if all involved are in agreement ?
Like when Bonnyrigg Rose played Hibs at Tynecastle the year they were defending the Scottish Cup ?
I see Kilmarnock are talking about offering Rugby Park to Auchinleck Talbot for the Celtic visit next month.

No, they tightened it up after a few high profile switches over the past few years.
Auchinleck have put plans in place for hosting Celtic at Beechwood. They have also sold out hospitality despite not knowing when the game is happening. The only way it would move now is if the Police said that it wouldn`t be safe but given they have hosted several high profile derbies and cup ties against Hearts and Ayr, that shouldn`t be an issue. .
To be honest, if you can`t host any of the teams in the competition, I don`t think you should be licenced to take part.

I think it would have been great to let them use a much bigger stadium to generate more revenue to be honest. An away game in the cup like this would be huge for a club like AT financially.

I would imagine Talbot will want it at their home ground, obviously this doesnt fit Celtic fans entitiled view of how the should get as much of any away ground as they want .

Supply and demand. They know they can sell it 2 or 3 times over so can charge what they like.

Successful applicants know by now.
I`m not a big fan of stadium criteria to determine which clubs can be allowed to win promotion, but I think a minimum attendance is a better criterium than seating etc.
