Easton is mumping in the Courier about a penalty he thinks they should have got when he says the ball hit Mullen on the hand. Strangely enough, he doesn`t mention the one they got for heehaw. Chump.

Here is what a psychological statement is. So he is insecure, needs his boss to tell him he is great and wants to focus on how Sh*t the Pars are. Don’t think I needed a psychological assessment to tell me that. He does have nice eyeliner though and his socks were very pretty at the weekend. Does that help for your validation Dylan?
Psychological Roots
Persistent complaining despite being incorrect frequently signals underlying insecurities, a need for validation, or habitual negativity that amplifies focus on flaws. It acts as a defense mechanism, deflecting personal vulnerabilities onto external “unfair” decisions. Such patterns may resemble “obsessive complaining disorder,” training the brain to overlook functional aspects of situations.

Mr Easton would do well to watch the Raith highlights before claiming unfairness…
1. After he scores he picks the ball out the net, looks up and spots Hammy. He then deliberately barges into Hammy from behind. No need for it.
2. Watch ATJ free kick. Easton encroaches - he’s never ten yards away when it’s hit.
I’m so glad we didn’t sign him.

I have it on real good authority that Easton is sound. He was genuinely close to coming to us in the summer too. No matter what you think of him he’d absolutely make our team so much better. You guys need to separate the art from the artist. He might be a bit gimpybwith his grealish hair and socks down but as a footballer, he is quality.

I definitely would have agreed with you last season but feel that either the style of football they play now or we can now cope with him better means I don’t see it this season. Agree there is quality but not at the level of previous years. Also good to have a good ole pantomime villain, especially at this time of year.

Dylan’s a sound guy. Was great with my wee boy and countless others kids when he was doing the coaching with Joe Cardle. Loves playing the pantomime villain. Just run with it. Probably was one of his best footballing memories is standing holding his big ears at the North west and smiling. Dylan would have had not issue signing for the Pars and hinted on a few occasions it was close and not just this summer. He actually needs applauded for wangling some ridiculous deal out of the Rovers and costing them another player from their squad to pay for it.

Easton signed an extension for rovers because at that stage of his career it’s best for him and his family. not because he’s a Raith die hard. If we had signed him then he would have been phenomenal for a season or two. Then that might have been about it. It’s not as if we were about to sign the next Scott mctominay. Easton is just approaching his twilight and if his best is on this league then it’s not a huge deal.

I like him in a pantomime villain way, can take it and give it back, always makes a game entertaining.
Well done to him for using the speculation to engineer such a deal from the wee team, I guess it`s his last chance of a pay day, and he played it brilliantly.
The wee team splaffed so much on deals for ageing pros, that the squad is so thin.

Easton can be quite a good player, and I`m sure he would have done a turn for us for a season, but I`m glad we didn`t pay a fee and hand him a three year contract in the summer.
It`s not a nice thing to say, but for all his undoubted talent, he`s underachieved in his career. Half of it, he`s been languishing in the bottom two tiers. He`s going to look back on that career and playing for The Rovers in the Championship is going to be the highlight of it

Yes we do Buffy.
We are calling the wee teams bluff. We praise the player, the wee team then panics and blows the budget on him, all on a longer contract , thus weakening the wee team further.

There`s very little characters in football anymore so I enjoy his carry on. Love to hate him but you would 100% love him in you`re team.

He has obviously opted for the best deal he can get. I don`t blame him for that. Personally, I think we need to be looking at experience players around 26-28 who have taken care of themselves and can do a job for us in the championship.

He`s certainly well-versed in the `dark arts` as he admitted in the Courier -
Easton was heavily involved throughout and was booked following a second-half melee that was sparked by Chris Hamilton over-reacting to Richard Chin’s aerial challenge. However, it was the kind of flashpoint he reckons Rovers needed to stir things up.
“I was actually saying to one of the boys, does somebody just want to put a tackle in? Because I felt that in the first-half they were winning a lot of first and second balls,” he said. “So, I thought I’d get in amongst it and kind of liven it up and sort of fire up the atmosphere. And I think we’ve done that in the second-half. We just needed someone to go and, not hurt someone, but just put in a hard tackle.``

Easton is one of these players who when he is in your team you love him and all he does and if he is in the opposition you hate him for everything he does. No doubt he would have added something to our squad based on last season but he wasnt wortht he money being talked about nor given his age. He got himself a new and improved deal out of it with the Rovers then fair play. I suspect he thrives on the role he plays. Pity there arent more of those sort of characters in the game

In fairness just scoring to get back in the game, hes trying to wind someone up, get a reaction, get someone sent off to get even more from it. Hes just a plank that chose the wrong person to do it to because Hammy wouldnt bite, a younger player or someone on a booking would possibly see a different reaction

There’s no doubt he’s one of the best players in the league. If we had of signed him, he’d have been a real asset this season but he’s 32. We were signing him hoping to get his last 2 good seasons but the lang toun tinks gave him a longer contract with a wage rise. Ah well, let them have him.

What is that? 3 apologies we have had now regarding wrong decisions in our games? And 1 managerial suspension. Maybe the SFA should look at the quality (or lack of) of their officials. I think it`s clear when we get officials from the Premier League how much they rely on VAR to make the big decisions in games and when they don`t have it their incompetence shines through.
This is Andy Tod`s world and we are lucky to live in it.

No. He just needed glasses. Wore dark glasses purely because he forgot his clear ones for a gig I’m sure. They then became part of his appearance from then on.

The point being that if, in the very unlikely circumstance that any one of said visually impaired individuals had been the match referee at Starks Park, last week, none of them would, even in their visually impaired state, have come to the conclusion of Wille Collum, that the penalty box incident should have resulted in a penalty.
