I see that Charleton Athletic play Chelsea tonight on TNT. Wonder if Josh Edwards will start.

Josh has been out for several weeks now but was a starter in almost every game before his injury. It may just be coincidence, but Charlton’s results have tailed off badly since Josh has been absent. I’m sure he would have started against Chelsea if he was fit.

And Macclesfield knocked out the holders. Surely the Pars could beat MacclesfieldđŸ€”

On that performance today, probably not, but definitely fancy us against Palace...

One nil Aston Villa. Got a feeling Thomas Franke should have stayed at Brentford.

No names on the Spurs` players` shirts? Are they trying to remain anonymous?

Special edition kit. Permission to have no names on back.

Villa look like they have at least one extra man - especially in midfield.

Classed as probably the greatest FA Cup shock of all time.

Very nice looking shirt. Pretty refreshing to have decent sized numbers and no names

Colchester against the mighty Leeds has to be the greatest upset.

Colchester were a league club, unlike Macclesfield.

Did Don Revie not change the Leeds strip to all- white to emulate Real Madrid, after the European Cup final at Hampden in 1960?

Correct, Stanza. He ditched the yellow and blue kit because he wanted his team to play like Real. Although arguably, they quite match the skill levels of the Blancos, they made up for it with their, err... physicality. Bremner, Giles, Hunter, J Charlton etc. Didn`t take any prisoners.

Not your average Sunday League player.

The Pars had a brief flirtation with an all-white strip in the 70s did we not? It certainly didn`t make us play like Real Madrid!

Aye, the club was broke. I don`t think we could afford the black dye, so all-white it was.

:)

With a circular badge - thankfully it had a short life span.

Alex Wright’s idea if memory serves ?

It was Alex wrights idea.I personally find all white strips, uninspiring, that’s not to say the teams are boring! Just to add I think the pars badge is one of the most attractive badges in football, and has an interesting story,in its detail.
