I see on the BBC article about him, Chelsea paid £5,000 to East Stirlingshire for him on the proviso that they would also play them in 2 friendlies. Apparently only 1 friendly ended up being played. I bet East Stirlingshire would welcome a second friendly now.

Before my time, but it seems he had a brilliant career, RIP
