I`ve just been out the back garden and the ground is soft. It does look like a frozen wonderland though.

It’s that byline side of the main stand that doesn’t get touched by sunshine or heat that the problem is I think.

I’ll be oot with ma hairdryer and curling tongs if needs be!

With 10k plus expected to attend tomorrow and if they haven`t taken any precautions to make sure there is no issues and it is frozen off. Someone should be sacked.

Are those Reform characters still in Glenrothes? Can we invite them along to blow some hot air on the pitch?

What precautions do you recommend ?

Unfortunately the frost covers are unlikely to provide guaranteed protection I suspect.

If the game is off, who is the "someone" who should expect a P45 ?

In the past DAFC had history by not arranging a pitch inspection in good time to make an early call on the match prospects.

Games pulled at 2:20pm (for example) after the match referee had arrived is something to be taken seriously.

Things have improved since then, especially where televised games are on the card.

No frost covers were used last night, the pitch was totally white at 10AM today. It looked soft but that was from a distance. Weather forecast is for abovr 0C overnight. The BBC were setting up their tech from 11AM. Expect the game to be on.
