UK residents require a Visa for the USA as do most from other nations.

Yes, I know. It`s called an ESTA but the UK isn`t on the list of 75 countries that Trump has decided are not allowed visas. These 3 countries are.

Should be plenty of tickets for the 3 Scotland games then ?

Just awful, was thinking that this would be the WC where I don`t watch every match, but it might be the one where I lose interest in it (apart from Scotland) it`s the first WC that I won`t be working for 20 years, just don`t want to
As for the countries, there is a massive Haitian population in U.S. but also throughout the Caribbean. The U.S. population are under heavy scrutiny - the Caribe Haitians won`t dare. This is a huge tournament for Morocco, and to deny fans goes against the whole spirit.
This WC and Trump, just gets worse every day

"The suspension will only affect foreign citizens seeking to immigrate to the US via sponsorship by a US citizen, an immediate relative who is lawfully and permanently residing in the US, or prospective US employers.
It does not apply to nationals from the list of countries seeking non-immigrant visas, or temporary tourist or business visas."

OK. My original post was tongue in cheek but there is a full ban on Haiti and some other countries are expected to have only a slim chance. I think Ivory Coast has a full ban too.

Yes, but with ICE taking over cities, and randomly pulling out randomly various ethnicities, and deporting in a large scale, I think if you are from any of these countries, you are under a lot of risk.

I fancied going, but didn`t fancy being shot for jaywalking after a beverage or 2 so giving it a miss.

I think folk should think seriously about going to the USA. Especially if they have any dark skin tone.
It really is bad. The Trump gestapo are out of control.
I certainly would stay sober.
There are going to be some alterations with ICE without a doubt, and some may well prove fatal.

I agree with comments already made.
I lived and worked in the USA for several years. Sadly, my view is that the USA has become a rogue state. If you are thinking about going to the World Cup, realize you could end up on the wrong side of an ICE agent and his gun.
If you do go, avoid the bevvy before, during, and after a game. You need to be mentally alert to make the right decisions about any situation involving crowds and ICE agents.
I think Scotland should withdraw.

You do realise skin colour has nothing to do with it? You know there have been white folk deported back to Eastern Europe because they over stayed their work visas? Some by like 20 years.
Overstaying visas was a bit of an unspoken norm. Just keep paying taxes and you wonât be deported type of thing. Obviously though, there is enough of a political movement where theyâre now deporting everyone whoâs involved. Itâs not skin colour dependent.

They`ve also abducted legal US citizens. Let`s not sugar coat what those thugs are doing. Fascist scum

Don`t forget the mother who was murdered and then had her corpse insulted by one of their Y`all-Qaeda guys.
Or that the rest of the rabble is protecting the murderer.
This is not tourist friendly and not a suitable location for a world cup.
The enemy travels by private jet, not by dinghy.

Andy, I donât agree that America is a ârogue stateâ I donât think something is off though. I donât think itâs all trump either but I do think if Trump is the best youâve got⊠đ„Ž
Since you lived there for years, what do you think it is? Iâve watched their news outlets and I donât know if thatâs a symptom or a cause? Or even just part of the cause? Like CNN and MSNBC have wild leftie takes and Fox has wild right takes. That Tucker Carlson may make the odd good point but some of his views are wild. Just as wild as the Young Turks on the other side đ€·đ»ââïž all seems crazy

The language youâre using is extreme. Abducted = wrongfully detained. There has been extreme cases that dragged into years but that guy was released and is now suing so hopefully he gets a pay out.
Edit: trust me to miss a word eh!

You never seen the videos of Americans who visit Europe and end up saying itâs nothing like how I thought, what you see online and in the news isnât what itâs really like here etc etc
Iâm pretty sure weâd have a similar reaction to visiting America.
Disneyland and all that jazz to side btw
