Looks like we are going to be a bit of a handful in attack now.
Olly, likes a bit rough, now we have Morrison to add spice, and kane or rudden will make it some force to recon with.
I`m looking forward to what`s coming.

Kane would need to be fit first.

I would let Kane go now…what’s the point of having a player that can hardly play 45 mins of football?

Why would you let a player go if he`s under contract, Hoolie? Presumably, you`d have to keep paying him until the end of it.
45 mins is better than 0 mins.
Not your average Sunday League player.

Disagree Hoolie. One of the best strikers in the league for me.
Even if we get 50% of Chris Kane. That a good few important goals for the remainder of the season.

That`s nonsense, he`ll score goals before thr end of the season.
I don`t wanna go down like disco.

We’re not even getting 45 mins out of him now. Not played a part in any of the last 4 games (1 he stayed on the bench and the last 3 he never made the squad) and according to Lennon he’s still out today.
If we could find a way to release him and get a reliable replacement I’d be all for it.
He’s been a good player for us when he first joined but we can now see exactly why St Johnstone let him leave in the first place.

If he can’t play how does he score goals? 2 goals in domestic and I think it’s 3 in cup games.
Don’t get me wrong a fit Kane is great but unfortunately we can’t get him fit anymore.

That`s how we got him, we knew he had a permanent injury that could be managed.
We aren`t backing him to be a main striker, but my goodness we have been thankful for his goals, particularly last season.
If it wasn`t for injury, he`s comfortably a decent top flight striker, and surely the others learn from him
He won`t play much for us, it seems injury is starting to be more permanent, but when reasonably fit he will score goals and hold up play, he will absolutely be an asset for the rest of his contract.

Chris Kane still has something to offer on and off the Park.

And when he plays, look how he puts himself about, his positioning, making space for others, it`s a lesson in how to be a striker, he`s clearly committed so even though this might be his last season, he will still bring something to the table.

imagine if Shaw comes in too....
Daily Record.....
(Oli) Shaw is one of the highest-paid players at Accies and it is understood St Johnstone and Dunfermline have shown an interest in snapping up the former Hibs striker, who is the top scorer in League One with 12 goals and three assists in 17 games. He has scored 16 goals in 26 appearances for Accies in all competitions this season.

Oli Shaw would be a good addition.
Always seems to keep himself fit and can score goals in this division.
A fit strike force of Rudden, Thomas, Tod, Shaw and Kane would be brilliant to have for the second half of the season.
I’d imagine there will be some leaving this month, Richie-Hosler most likely. Potentially Bray on loan too.
