The winger joins #DAFC on a two-and-a-half-year deal from Northern Ireland club Linfield for an undisclosed fee, subject to international clearance.

the early kick off might hinder the chances of getting clearance for tomorrow, when he is available could see him ending up playing through the middle with Rudden and Tod plays as the number 10.
squad up to 26 again not including Sutherland and the club still want a centre half and possibly a midfielder, going to be a few outs before the end of the windows for sure.

Who Needs It?Ā Generally, any player over 10 years old who was not born in Scotland or has previously played for a club outside Scotland (including England, Wales, NI) needs clearance.

Remember we also signed Kevin O`Hara, and ex Falkirk player who received an 8 game ban for abusing Dean Shiels about his disability when he played for us.
It shows that things in the past can be forgotten about, it`s what he does for us from here on that counts. Hopefully he hits the ground running. If he doesn`t, that`s when these things come back to bite.

He is the right age. It hasn`t worked out for him and he seems to be returning for family reasons. That sounds fair enough to me. It`s not about where he has been and where he has come from. It`s about looking forward to see what he can do for us. Hopefully he settles in and makes a contribution for the second half of the season. He knows where the goals are so hopefully he can get back on that train. Shows the club ambition and a real attempt to get into the top four.

So if we re-sign Barney, are the same folk going to boo him for slapping the Falkirk badge a week after doing the same with ours v Raith?
Regardless of what any playerās done before, once they pull on the Pars jersey they should be backed. Booing a player on his debut achieves absolutely nothing other than making you look like petulant children. Get behind the team and judge him on what he does for us on the pitch.

No. Because Barney never done anything wrong. saying you āfcking hateā the club (not once, repeatedly, on more than one occasion) isnt remotely the same as tapping a badge when you score a goal. Not really sure why thatās hard to understand.

Yes, Morrison is an @rseho!e but he`s now our @rseho!e. It`s been years since we had 1 in our team and we`ve missed it.
Having a good @rseho!e in our team winds up opposition players which increases the chance of red cards/rash challenges and also annoys the opposition fans which is a comedy bonus.

Barney didnāt score for Falkirk. Morrison wasnāt even at Dunfermline at the time of the video. Basic, checkable facts⦠but nah, letās chuck them out the window so we can have a collective meltdown on a fans forum instead.
Weāve just won a game, a massive game and are through to the next round of the cup, and folk would rather argue about some woke 10 second video rather than enjoy the win.

No matter what the circumstances are, it`s pretty poor to boo a player of the team you claim to support, especially on his debut.
Last time I remember that happening was for Andy Smith. He broke his leg in that first game but won the boo boys over with his wholehearted style and plenty of goals.

Weāve just won a game, a massive game and are through to the next round of the cup, and folk would rather argue about some woke 10 second video rather than enjoy the win.
Woke?
Lol
Beat me to it

Brilliant to see him right in amongst the celebrations at the NW. Who`d have ever thought it. I think he will be really good for us. We`ve a great bunch of guys playing for us right now you can see the team spirit flowing round the players and staff.

Weāve been looking a bit lightweight all season. He looks like what we need to toughen us up but having said that, we were looking fairly robust before he came on too. Hopefully he works out for us. Seems to have an engine on him.

Any player that pulls on the Pars shirt and gives it their all is fine in my book regardless of who they`ve played for in the past. He is nippy and as we know all too well is someone opposition fans despise to see play against their team much like an Easton etc.
Morrison`s pace and trickery is something we didn`t really have before, not to mention his experience in Scottish football. He`ll give us a different dynamic in attack and cause problems for defences at this level. Looking forward to seeing his contributions over the next couple years
