We seem to have built a squad where everyone understands their role. There are no ‘big names’ or ‘marquee’ signings like many hoped for, but instead solid, steady players who all seem to be flourishing within this system.
Gilmour has really tightened things up in the middle of the park. I can’t remember the last time we looked overrun there, which was an obvious issue last season. JCM and Abdulai seem to bring out the best in each other. Everyone is hard working and knows their role, which is really good to see compared to the guff we’ve been served since, and even including, the League 1 winning season. It is a really positive time at the club.
This is Andy Tod`s world and we are lucky to live in it.

Best airdrie and it’s he first time were won 3 league games in a row this season and maybe for a few seasons.
The defence looks solid, I’m not sure how much we paid for Abdulai but he’s absolutely sold, has settled great and shows a turn of pace we’ve been missing with Bene.
We now have plenty of options upfront so can rest the youngsters and we really don’t miss kane at all anymore.
Not sure if there’s anymore business to be done but we look well placed now and as the weather and pitches improve you feel we’ll continue to improve.
Big squad turn around coming in the summer too where I expect we’ll be even better next season.
