I really cannot recall, in over 60 years of following the Pars, when we had a squad of players with so much potential.
So many young guys who look capable of developing into real players. All playing very well together, showing great maturity and being coached by a very good backroom staff.
The future’s bright - the future’s black and white.

I think what you have to do in a team like ours is take advantage of the environment and circumstances around the current football structure. This entails identifying players who ordinarily would be able to break into the first team of highr league club but due to the oressure to achieve, they are not given that opportunity. Risks are too high for managers. Clubs try to buy instant success instead. It presents opportunity in terms of a club model, paticularly where you have a management team whose strengths are in developing talent and managing people. Play to your strengths, work on your weaknesses as they say. Its not that they are not good enough, its more that managers are frightened to take the risk. I always think that its more important what you think of yourself ratherr than what others think of you. As a team, I always thought we would improve incrementally through the season as the talent is there,. You just have to build discipline and confidence. Other clubs with a higher precentage of old pro`s are likely to fade as the season goes on. Consistency is the enemy, but that is countananced by good morale and instilling the importance of performing to a high level week in week out. You are only as good as your last game and at the end of the day, if you are going to do something, do it well.

It`s the players like Ngwenya, Mehmet, Matty who were all but written off that blow me away and for me is an indication of the quality of the management and coaches, a "no one left behind" policy?
Put the work in, perform and your Pars story goes on?
Then there`s the potentia all over the place, what a difference 👏
I don`t wanna go down like disco.
