36 years young.
Some on here will think he is past it.
Looking forward to seeing how experience can compensate for age.

I doubt he will be coming to warm the bench

So looking at likely line up of :

Mehmet
Jerry Abdoulia Ngwenya

Kearney Gilmour Carey Fraser

A.Tod Rudden Morrison

That leaves one heck of a lot of midfielders not in the match day squads?

I will be utterly astounded if Matty Todd doesn`t keep his place unless injured.

Will he save it? Save it??? He never bloody saw it! Like a bullet!

Good signing, wand of a left foot and has worked with Lennon previously.

More chance of him playing LWB in the absence of Fraser I think.

I saw him play for Plymouth from time to time when I was in the Navy, and I always thought he was a cracking player….all be it, that was a few years ago now.

Since coming back home, he’s done well with both St Mirren and St Johnstone, so I’m looking forward to seeing what he can do for us.

I’ll admit, I’m a bit surprised we’ve gone for another player in that position as we do seem quite heavy in the middle of the park. But if we can get him firing, and he still has that ability, there’s no doubt he’ll be a very good addition.

Strange one as we have so much cover/competition in midfield, but NL has bought him in as part of the plan. Lets see how this pans out........

At his age, I think he is coming in to help the youngsters as well as putting in some good minutes. He will be big help on the training ground.

For starters he can show them how to keep/dip the ball down when shooting, and how to put a bit power in a shot.
We sky too many attempts and shoot like we are passing all too often.

I was rather sceptical when the Pars signed a 35 year-old, Parrot.

Cannae mind his full name now, but fans called him Bru, Broo, or was it Brew? 🙄

For every Brewster there has been multiple Dorrans. Time will tell.

Certainly drops him further down the pecking order you’d think.

I have a feeling they are working on parts of Jefferson’s game and he will return more frequently soon enough. Much like Ngwenya, pretty clear he was being coached into that back 3 role and look at him now.

That`s the spirit! Let`s knock any positivity on the head right away. We can`t have that. Maybe you could do the motivational talks pre-match?

Can`t see anything negative about this, we`ve got a highly experienced player until the end of the season. Worst case scenario is he doesn`t play, even if that`s the case, he will be a help to the younger players.

Graham Dorrans wasn`t that bad for us, he just wasn`t the player that he was at his peak, and he wasn`t the vocal experienced guy we needed. Anyway, that`s history.

The difference is that he wants to play football both this season and next. He has fallen out of the Livi plans. End of tge season with us and if all works well he could sign for us next season.

If he’s not good enough for Livi in the SPL, then he’s not good enough for us in it 😉😉

Great signing with all the experience to help the young lads in training and get the club into a play off spot…remember Hardie…

Now that he’s part of the Pars family. he can be assured of our unwavering support ~ both on, and off field. Wishing him the very best in his loan spell with us.

Good experience but he’s no hardie as the legs really go at the mid 30’s and he’s 37 come May. He’d be expected to do a lot more running in midfield than Brewster too.

The important thing here is that he’s nearing the end of his career so isn’t expecting to play every game and this means we’ll be able to rotate and rest some players who have looked jaded at points. He’ll pass on knowledge to the youngsters too and has worked with Lennon before so will have the leadership etc skills to help the young guns.

It’s a good short term signing to help the squad as we look to make a push towards the playoffs and the pressure games start coming thick and fast.
