I guess with all the chat about who we could potentially meet in the next round I completely forgot about their Scottish cup game on Wednesday, BouncyPar. Thanks for the reminder. 😀

Killie have started brighter of the two so far. I like the look of Curtis at Killie, who is on loan from Rangers.

What is Schmeichel doing for the second? I`ve seen Sunday league goalkeepers more agile.

Just turned on TV to Killie game - why is it so empty ? I remember our first EEP SPL game v Celtic, we were just shy of 20,000. There’s maybe 7,000 at Rugby Park today ! Weather ?

Honest question, maybe naive but do Celtic supporters sing sectarian bile nowadays? Maybe the rangers songs are more obvious ?

Celtic fans sing Irish folk songs, mainly hailing members of the IRA etc. Not sure if its sectarian bile, but certainly not fit for Scottish football grounds.

Is singing about the IRA not the meaning of sectarian bile?
concerning or arising from membership of a particular religious or political group, or from divisions between such groups.
"the city`s traditional sectarian divide"

Rangers v Hearts is on now. Big build ups usually end in disappointing games. Let’s hope it’s as exciting as the Kilmarnock v Celtic game.

Remember there is a difference between the ira that’s generally referred to in the songs sung (who won Irish independence), and the provisional ira (who were one of the paramilitary groups started up in the 70s).
There are ‘folk’ songs about the later, but according to people I know who attend, I don’t believe you hear them so much, if at all, at celtic park
But as said above, still no need for any of it in 2026 let alone at football
