 Jammy Booggers or what?

It was said on Sportscene on Sunday evening that the Sellick have scored a winner or equaliser after the 90th minute 6 (SIX) times this season. 😮

Let`s hear your take on this remarkable fact - the wilder the better. 😁

I recall big Ange having the motto "we never stop" during his time in Glasgow - they may very well have stuck to this. May be to do with referees playing until they score too...

Celtic have such a reputation for scoring late goals that you do wonder if it plays on the minds of opposition players and they lose their discipline and organisation in added time.

Ah, so for "Fergie time"; read "Sellick time"? 🤔

I think this stat probably makes Celtic slight favorites in my book, not just the points saved but the psychological boost of winning late on.

I don`t think it`s jammy, it`s the simple act of being winners and never giving up.

Celtic are continually cheated by the SFA ,and the wider establishment, due to this Celtic have only won 5 trebles in 10 years and 20 of the last 30 trophies , proving the theory that everyone is against them.

Never underestimate the power of positive (or negative) thinking on the outcome of a sporting contest.

My father played for Partick Thistle several times against both Celtic and Rangers. He told me that even if Thistle were leading with five minutes to play, they were never really confident of winning - all 22 players on the pitch still believed that the Old Firm team would get a late goal.

That was 85-90 years ago, and the intervening years will have done nothing to change players` beliefs. IMO the greatest achievement of Alex Ferguson was developing the attitude of his Aberdeen team so that they actually BELIEVED they would win against Celtic or Rangers.
