I’ve just started reading how to win the Premier league by Ian Graham. It takes a deep dive into data analysis in the player recruitment side of football and how he applied it at Spurs and Liverpool. Although I’m only about a quarter of the way through, it’s already offering some really valuable insights. It makes me think we may be using a very similar model. I managed to pick up a copy for a few quid on Vinted, although I imagine eBay will have plenty available at a similar price.
