Would like to see Jerome Prior in goals and Bruce Anderson up front!
Anyone agree?

We need to get experienced players in the door. I imagine that contracts won’t be offered to many of the players heading out of contract. Let’s hope we are not in league one.

I don’t watch other teams GSJ, but I would a imagine there might be a few at Livingston who are very good championship players (granted they have struggled in SPL but we’d bring better in should we go up)
We could do with players who have made it out of this league before but understand the physicality of this league and whats required.
Apart from mullan I can’t see any of the players out of contract staying and to be honest hats probably for the best.

David Cook out his excitement has failed the club. He maintains the Germans were all about youth. Then along came James Bord and it’s still youth, yesterday different was Arbroath had seasoned championship pro’s

I`m struggling to make sense of that post. Are you saying David Cook is responsible for our recruitment policy?

As CEO then he’ll be heavily involved. Absolutely.

You think the CEO has a say in who we sign? I`d imagine he does the negotiations with the players/agents/clubs but I can`t see NL agreeing to the CEO deciding who to sign.

That’s wild (blaming Cook for signings), even by .net standards!

Hearing we`re having a `big push` signing wise in the summer sounds great on the face of it. A fresh start with a number of players who have been inconsistent at this level moving on.
I worry a little though that analytics fills the team with English academy kids who will be bullied into submission every week?

I’d suggest we look at the goalkeeping coach position.

Keep who we can. Defence and midfield might need are build depending on who stays/leaves. Can’t get away from the fact we’re still desperate for a striker. I’m not overly panicking about GK, Terrell made a howler yesterday but I still think he’s decent enough. Obviously though-if we can get someone better in, you’d take it

In order of priority:
1- experienced and competent goalie
2- prolific striker with some experience at this level or higher
3 left winger
4- experienced and competent centre back (2 if JCM goes)

Our goalie coach seems to be getting some stick on here, is it anything personal?

a full clearout was needed last summer and it didnt happen, 15 players under contract for next season with different question marks over quite a few of them, unless some of them go to make room for other signings it could end up being the same again next season.

Same as the last 3 windows under Lennon. Signed 2 keepers this pre season and none better than we had. That highlights alone how poor our recruitment actually is

Prior a big yes to him. Anderson we have already had at EEP, he was okay but not the kind of player who would score a lot.

That`s an outstanding observation. I wish I`d thought of that.

Have we not tried seasoned pros? Dorrans , o halloran etc etc the comments on here during that period were worse than they are now.
