Pars V Queens Park (big game Saturday)

Queens have crept up on us and only two points behind now.

Pars hopefully can turn their poor form around and build on that point from last night.

Personally would ditch the 3 at the back ( would either put JCM at right back or drop him, been poor for a while now) and get the wide players higher up the pitch. We need to be more front footed for a game like this and really go for 3 points from the off.

Hopefully we can get a good turn out and a bit of atmoshphere going to lift the place and push the team on.

We improved once Lennon changed to shape around the 30mins mark.

I’d start with a back 4 on Saturday tbh.

Mullen Abdulai Ngwenya Fraser

That will allow us to get a grip hold of midfield possibly Turley, Gilmour and Amade.

I’d also start with Cooper and Todd either side of Kane or Thomas.

I never realised how horrible our home record is against Queens Park.

They beat us 0-1 to relegate us in 2022.

Since we’ve came back up we’ve failed to beat them at East End in 5 visits.

First season back up we lost 0-3 and drew 0-0.
Last season resulted in a 1-2 loss and a 0-0 draw.
So far this season our only meeting at East End was 0-0.

The last time we beat them at home was 10 years ago.

Let’s hope the players are lifted after Tuesday night and can change the record books and bring us a much needed home win.

Ithink at this stage of the season every game is a big game , we need to go on a run ourselves , these are the games we should be winning if we have any ambition at all, we need a leader on the park unfortunately Mullen is not that man

Predicting 2-1 Pars. Think we might get a we run going. Mid week was was much better than Airdrie and Morton.
