The assault on Amade at 9m 55s is cowardly

IMO That assault on Amade worth a red.

Happy the highlights didn`t cover the Chilokoa-Mullen throw-in when he killed half a minute of game time deciding where to throw the ball. Either take the throw-in fast to a player who is free, or launch it as far as possible up the line. Or do we need rocket science?

We are murder at throw ins. Have been for ages. I don`t see any other teams finding the same difficulty

There’s a real lack of movement at throw ins. Saying that even when we do find a a team mate they either knock it straight out the pitch or loft it forward and the defenders win the ball.

Lack of movement at throw-ins has been a shortcoming for years now. They should try to dig out some footage of Hamish French darting around for space to give the thrower a target to let them see how it should be done.

Can’t recall bad throw-ins when Edwards was taking them.

Aye cos he could throw it long, the issue is movement, aswell as the fact that specifically down the right, mullen doesnt seem to have the knack of thundering it down the line aswell, so if the players dont move, hes unable to take a quick one, what we need is our players running around, making the opposition not know who to mark, and creating the space for ourselves to get something out of it, a cross, shot, corner etc.

We don`t need a quick throw. Movement and someone who doest take foul throws most of the time will help.

This is Andy Tod`s world and we are lucky to live in it.

Id guess most times we have a throw it ends up either going backwards or a turnover to the opposition

Not a huge fan of the assault on Amade or the Thistle number 5 poking our keeper in the eyes.

isn`t contact with the eyes a straight red and a 12 week ban in rugby? Here it`s a simple freekick?

The Amade one was common assault as I seen it from the NW. I saw it clearly from close range, but almost everyone was focussed on the forward play and didn’t see it when it happened. The referee and NW linesman can be forgiven for this but the stand side linesman must have had a clear view and I genuinely wonder what these guys watch when they are running the line.

That`s disgraceful. Surely retrospective action can be taken?
