A win in midweek with a loss for Ayr will basically guarantee us 4th place after 3/4 of the season.
Ross County and Airdrie are tightening things up at the bottom though. A slump in form could see any of seven teams from 4th downwards get relegated. That`s bonkers.

Think we can all agree that it’s a very tight league bar the top 3.
You’ve seen the Pars now please go home!

We won a good game, and are now around the playoffs.
The forum is quiet, where are all the posters from last week?

On game at a time. Not worried about other teams. Its important what we do. You can only win todauy and collect the points.

Ha! Don`t worry, it happens on OAFC forum.
We have a Micky Mellon Out thread that went live a week after he was appointed ( it`s currently 226 pages long!) and guess what...
Win? It`s dead
Lose or draw.. chaos!
They live amongst us.. blox to em!
I blame Andy Rhodes for this!

Queens Park at home a week on tuesday. They play Arbroath away this coming Tuesday too so if we beat County we`re gaining on at least one of them.

The dodgy box, stay at home so called, Pars fans
are the ones who do most of the dooming and
gloomin on the forum. I`ll bet that some of them have never
been at a game this season. The season ticket holders
and the away fans, are the real supporters

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, the Championship season in, season out is made up of 9 or 10 clubs who are consistently inconsistent. Anyone can beat anyone in this league. That’s the reality of it.
Yes, we’ve had a poor run recently. No one can deny that. But a draw and a win in a few days and suddenly we’re sitting 4th. At one point the "Lennon out" bregade were shouting like we were in freefall, when in reality we were closer to 4th than 9th most of the time. The reaction from them felt completely kneejerk. The same people who when asked what the alternative would look like can’t actually give you an answer.
We’ve been a work in progress since the season kicked off and that hasn’t changed. What hasn’t changed either is that we have a chairman and a manager aligned in what they’re trying to do. Lennon brings knowledge, experience and a presence and I can see that counting in this division.
When Bord and Co came in, they were clear, no reckless throwing money at the transfer market. And they’ve stuck to that. But let’s not pretend nothing’s improved either, there’s been investment on the playing surface and commercially things are clearly moving forward now under the right people. That matters long term.
Right now, we’re in the mix. I know whose position I’d rather be in at this stage, ours and not Ross County or the Rovers.
This is Andy Tod`s world and we are lucky to live in it.

Championship seems to be full of recycled players, just moving from club to club, how many yesterday had links to EEP?
Our squad is at least bringing in fresh talent!
