After his hat-trick against Hibs I felt if he kept scoring he’d give himself a chance, outside Dykes and Adams we’re very light and these tournament squads, to coin an American phrase often include someone out of left field.
He’s doing incredibly well given how inexperienced he is at this level

A couple of nights ago, I went into a new grocery that`s opened not far from my house, to buy some fruit and veggies. The shop manager, hearing my Scottish accent, came across and introduced himself. He`s from Falkirk, and we ended up chatting for ten minutes about the wonders of Barney Stewart. Like me, he gets up in the middle of the night to watch his team online.

It`s funny how you bump into people like that.
I was sitting on a bench waiting for a bus in Vancouver a couple of years ago.
I had a big black weatherproof DAFC coat on.
Guy with earphones on sat down next to me and told me he was listening to the Falkirk management and players discussing the game coming up against us.
I can`t remember how important the game was but I think we won it.
