The SFA and SPFL will probably want a Celtic-Falkirk Cup Final on 23 May - it would be an all-Premiership match and would avoid a potential clash of dates if Dunfermline and/or St Mirren were also in the SPFL Premiership Play-off Final (currently scheduled for 21 and 24 May).
Of course, it`s not likely - we will not be the bookies` favourites to reach the Cup Final, and nor will St Mirren. But it`s possible.
And we are not guaranteed to be in the play-offs at all, never mind the Final - but again it`s possible.
However, the odds are maybe about even that Premiership Team 11 will be St Mirren, who are only 3 points ahead of Kilmarnock with 9 games to play. (Although having seen how poor Aberdeen are ......)
Even if the Play-off Final dates were moved by a couple of days, we could be playing St Mirren three times in a week, with two of the matches potentially going to extra time and penalties! That`s a lot of football, but let`s hope it all comes to pass!
