Mr Dunfermline, get him the keys to the city.
Yet another fantastic performance by a guy that plays for the badge week in week out. If there’s any player in that squad that has deserved a night like last night it’s him, especially after the last couple season he has had. What a man

And Andy Todd gave a wee push on the defender before Matty buried it.

Absolute hero.
Over the last few years he’s been involved in a lot of our big moments. Goal v Falkirk at EEP when we put them to bed, cross for the goal v Hibs and the opener last night.
Matty, Matty Todd!

You could see what it meant to the local boys like Hammy and Todd. Absolutely delighted for boys like that who give everything, every week. They’ve earned every bit of it.

Really chuffed for Matty in particular.
Looked like he was out the door, but has clearly got his head down, worked hard & shown the right attitude to get back into Lenny`s plans.
Absolutely excellent goal last night to set things up.
Well done lad 😎🏁👏🏼
COME ON YE PARS!

Yeah he wasn’t the only one going out the door. But what I like about Lennon is that he’s quite happy to be persuaded he was wrong. That gives all
The players something to aim for.

Somehow I heard the name Matty is only an invention of Pars fans and he was never known as Matty before he came to EEP. But I`m sure he`s very happy to be known as Matty now. And yes, it was absolutely brilliant to see him smash that shot into the roof of the net.

He did well with both his goal but also defensively to keep aberdeen out with his clearance before he scored

Wasn`t that turley? After ox save from Armstrong. I know at least one of the commentary mistook him there(and worse later when Todd was mistaken for Thomas

Who was the ill informed pitchside tv pundit after the St Mirren v Partick game that outed Matty as the secret love child of Andy Tod (son of god)
He stated something to the effect of both Tod(d) brothers played well against Aberdeen…… ‘F’ for effort mate 🤣🤦🏼♂️
