As trailed on here a few weeks ago Gregor Pirie has joined the backroom staff from Raith Rovers. He`s another Pars` fan having watched the team from the Norrie as a boy. He says there are a few amongst the backroom team.
In an interview on COWS he says he`s impressed with the facilities and systems available at the club to help the players recover from injuries and achieve and maintain match fitness.

I do think the fitness levels this season have been miles ahead of previous seasons

I notice the physios do change from week to week including a female who shows a great turn of speed when running on the park unsure who she is and if she is involved in fitness training also.

According to COWS she is Karen Gibson and is `Head of Medical`. She might have been doing the onfield stuff while we were recruiting a physio. On the other hand, she may have left! Gregor Pirie isn`t included in the staff section yet.

that is a different physio, dont know her name but she did a couple of the preseason and cup games in July before Gibson started then has done most of the games since around early December.
in the interview with Pirie there is no mention of Gibson at all so presume she has left which is why he has come in.

Her name is Izzie, I’ve known her through running for years. Runs ultra marathons, ironmans etc.

We seem to have a different physio for different games. I saw one on the pitch one week and then in Legends having a pint the next. Hopefully bringing this guy in means we’ll have more consistency on that front.
This is Andy Tod`s world and we are lucky to live in it.

Gregor Pirie isn`t listed either which seems strange. In fact there`s no physio but a doctor, a senior sports scientist and two sports therapists as well as `Head of Performance`.

Does the club website get properly updated though? Even though there`s a limit that a 2nd tier Scottish club can have, it`s uninspiring, it has an automated look to it.

Izzie Robertson was definitely physio at at least one game as I saw her sitting in the dugout.
