New venue and structure for the POTY:
“We are excited to launch a brand-new Player of the Year event, bringing all our supporters together for one special event.
This year, the event will be held at the Alhambra Theatre on Sunday 26th April with a 3pm start, allowing us to welcome a larger number of Pars fans for a truly memorable afternoon.
We are launching a refreshed Player of the Year format, a grand afternoon celebrating everything positive about our club. The day will feature:
Theatre style presentation with great sound and video highlights from the season;
All supporters clubs joining us on stage to present their own awards;
Community recognition, including awards in collaboration with the Pars Foundation and DAWFC;
Academy awards celebrating the future of the club.
The afternoon will be hosted by Steven Mill, with Jim Leishman presenting our community awards. We’ll also be joined by the first-team squad, coaching staff, and manager Neil Lennon, who will share their reflections on the season so far.
The event will also see two more Pars legends inducted into the Dunfermline Athletic Hall of Fame. More details about who these players are will be released later this month.
We’re committed to making this event as inclusive as possible, with competitively priced tickets to ensure as many supporters as possible can attend and be part of the celebration. Furthermore, the afternoon timings mean the event is suitable for many of our younger supporters as well as our traditional audiences.
Following the awards, there will be an opportunity to meet the players, with time for photos and autographs with your favourites.
Tickets are only £10 for adults and £5 for U16s. (please note tickets are online only) Any supporters requiring wheelchair spaces (plus carer) should email enquiries@dafc.co.uk.
(see Tickets page on cows) to purchase your tickets now.
Voting for the awards will open later this week.”
