Brora v Brechin this evening (Wednesday) in what could be quite a match.
Brechin are league leaders by 3 points, but a win for Brora will give them the lead on GD. Then it will be down to the final match, with Brora away to Huntly and Brechin away to Turriff.
I would like to see Brechin back in the SPFL, but if they don`t make it this year it could get even harder in future, as they will move to the new Lowland League set-up from next season.

Did Brechin ever get over 2017/18 in the Championship when they didn`t win a league game after narrowly squeezing through in the promotion playoffs the previous season ?

Was it not the Wee team?
Aye, I think Brechin never recovered, they just kept on losing, once you are in freefall it`s hard to stop.Cowdenbeath were on a permanent slide, unfortunately these teams have too small a support to throw money at it
It`s a cracking club and a good away day, but it`s hard to see them in the league again, they don`t have the biggest of supports.
I would like to see one automatic relegation from the league and one play off.

living up north i can highly recommend taking in a game or 2 if you get a chance. some cracking games usually full of goals. mixed with the odd drab 0-0 like most leagues.

2-1 to Brora FT. Winner in added time after Brechin were reduced to 10 men. Brechin captain is Euan Spark. Did he not have a spell at the Pars?

Pars 1 aye I`ve seen quite a bit of the Highland league over the years, I`ve got a mate who lives in Banff, so whenever I go up, we see as many games as possible, really good grounds, social clubs etc. Been to Peterhead a fair bit too, a really great club.
I`ve never seen a bad game, and the Buckie v Vale is a really good derby, big crowds too .
People forget when they were saying it was unfair when Brechin were 2nd and couldn`t enter the playoffs that the Highland league is a good league in its own right, there`s not many teams want to play in the Scottish league. There`s real honour in winning the Highland league - who would have thought a team from Sutherland would win it?

Brora now strong favourites to win the title, level on points with a Goal Difference advantage of 4, and a Goals Scored advantage of 19.
Both teams should win their final game, but Brechin need to better Brora`s score by at least 5 to be champions.

Not a great 30th birthday last night for Lewis Martin, who rejoined Brechin in Feb and was playing for them yesterday. Another ex-Par, Brad McKay was also playing for City, who are managed by Andy Kirk.

Level on points and with a 4 goal advantage, Brora are firm favourites for the title today, and it`s likely that Brechin will lose out on goal difference - if so, I think that will be the third year in a row!
I saw this post elsewhere:
"With the action happening in Huntly and Turriff, I’ve dubbed it “Tractor Saturday”…. with the trophy possibly sitting in a Massey Ferguson somewhere around Aberchirder"
