Thinking about the current 3 game run v Arbroath, I started thinking about a similar occasion in the late 90s/early 00s where we played Rangers 3 times within 7 or 8 days. Match 1 at EEP was a draw in a cup, match was a midweek replay at Ibrox, and the following weekend saw us in league action at Ibrox.
I destinctly remember there only being a very small, felt like less than 100, Pars fans in attendance for the final match.
Ive had a look through some season results, and I can`t find a reference to it anywhere, but I`ve always been certain I was there for all 3 matches. Tell me I`m not making this up?! It feels like such a real memory, but I can`t find it in the results.

Was it not Celtic 00/01
Scottish Cup
17/02/01 Celtic H 2 - 2
07/03/01 Celtic A 1 - 4
SPL
04/03/01 Celtic H 0 - 3
We did draw with Rangers in the Scottish Cup in 2002/2003 but the league game was not near these dates

I don`t remember that but we had three against Celtic in eight days around then. 0-0 at East End in the cup, lost the reply 3-0 midweek then another scoreless draw at home on the Saturday.

Thank you so much! I`ve always remembered it as being v Rangers for some reason. Glad I`m not totally losing my marbles tho!
Bonus points to anyone who can dig out the Pars attendance in the replay match. I'm sure it must have been seriously low?
