On checking my email this morning I received the following “supposedly” from the Scottish FA - my immediate thought was scam but just checking if anyone else has received similar and it’s actually legit? (To be clear I haven’t requested a password change)
Dear Sir or Madam,

What app/website and password ?
The Barclays Hampden app is a 6 digit passcode.
Proceed with caution - a call to the official SFA `phone number advised.

If anyone does not address you by your name personally then avoid.
If they address you by your name then check the email address they send to you
E.g. www.DAFC.co.uk shows this is from DAFC. If it is something else like DAFC_.co.uk avoid as the weblink is information is dodgy.
If in doubt never press any external links. Just contact Hampden but check the number on a viable website and not in any email you receive and ask whether they have a reporting structure from SCAM emails, otherwise send to the government website report@phishing.gov.uk

Thanks as I say my immediate thought was scam but it’s good to be able to check with other supporters. I’ll ignore it and hopefully the tickets I have ordered will arrive on the app like they did for the semi without any issue.
As for your question VEE it was an email I received and it didn’t come through app or website - the app is still working on my phone for me without asking me to reenter any details
Enjoy the game COYP

The point I was trying to make is that the Barclays app uses a 6 digit numerical passcode rather than a password.

I see I have this too, it references me by my full name and has my email address. I`m not clicking the link at the moment anyway.
I see I can get in through the app and the tickets are there

If you have an iPhone or iPad, just click on the sender’s name at the top of the email and the real email address appears. Great way to identify scam emails.

I revived an email from same address. Suppoerters@scottishfa.co.uk. But in assuming legit as mines was when I was logging in via my mobile it was an email with pin to access the app. The same email address contacted me an hour prior saying my tickets were now available.
Only thing I am confused about as the above appears to be legit process to gain access but I’ve got another account open with another email of mine. I’ve never had this app up till the semi final so slightly confused.

Suppoerters@scottishfa.co.uk.
If that`s the spelling as received - I would avoid.

I checked this morning with the SFA girl I have been dealing with on another matter.
I got this back.
Just checked with our ticketing team – sounds like the club accidentally clicked a reset button for Dunfermline accounts. They said this can be ignored though and your tickets should be in your app shortly.
