 VAR Hearts vs Motherwell

Sky Sports Scotland released the VAR footage and audio for the Hearts and Motherwell game.

Pretty evident that the VAR refs clearly thought it was the penalty however it was the ref on field himself that opted for the no penalty.

There`s no doubt hearts got royally shafted at the end of the season.

The question is whether it`s incompetence or conspiracy.

Compare this with the penalty for Celtic against Motherwell where John Beaton just takes the VAR’s word for it that it ‘definitely hits the arm’.

On a season defining moment the Ref takes the word of the var. Think one of the pundits on talksport, the next day summed it up perfectly. The var camera looks like it`s from Motherwell`s ring door bell. Embarrassing and What an awful decision

That’s right mate.
One decision was decided by VAR with an agreement with John f@cking Beaton after 20 seconds regarding the handball/header.
Pundits and fans alike still can’t decide if it was handball.

The other one from days earlier was decided by the referee despite VAR unanimously agreeing it was a penalty and he wasn’t interested after an equally short look on the monitor.

It was a disgrace and stinks of corruption.
