Cardiff didn`t seem to give him much of a chance when he was there. I suppose they might get a cut of this fee though.

Plenty of players in the national league have moved up to higher levels. some are now playing at the top end of the English Premiership - there`s a lot of talent in there.
Fagan-Walcott has been a stand out at York who were really close to promotion last season, and got promoted this season with what must be close to a record points total.
His price reflects that - he`s young and `proven`. I actually think Hearts have got themselves something of a `bargain`.

I do think if we didn’t have the Germans in when we had him we probably would have bought him but also I don’t think we would have even got him if we didn’t have the Germans in at that point
