Oddschecker showing the following:-
Livingston - 13/8
Dunfermline - 2/1
Partick - 4/1
Raith Rovers - 9/1
Inverness - 10/1
Arbroath - 16/1
Ayr - 20/1
Morton - 28/1
Queens Park FC - 33/1
Stenhousemuir - 50/1
Surprised Patrick aren`t favourites. I`d say they`ve done the best business so far.

I`m not at all convinced about Livingston and wouldn`t be surprised if they do a Ross County.

I think it’s gonna be a race between us and Partick for the title.

Unless we strengthen the squad soon, I think we could end up having a really inconsistent start to the season. This would not exactly help our title aspirations. Fingers crossed we have a good transfer window.

With regards to Partick as mentioned above doing the most business and the best business are two different things.

Inverness will have a decent season and will have some momentum.
I’m not sure how the bookies have us ahead of Partick given the points gap last season and as it stands we’re currently weaker but perhaps more based on who we might bring in.
Defo not as strong a league as last year. Stenny to be the whipping boys

It’s one of those seasons where there is no outright favourite, so have an excellent opportunity if we recruit well.
Last time the league was like this, we were in a relegation scrap for most of it.

So far it just seems to be William Hill out, so very small limits indeed, and as soon as they get bets they move erratically.
My guess, last season we were high priced as a starting price, and there was an avalanche of bets on us (there was) not taking into account the Lennon factor.
For me, Partick are battle hardened, appear to have recruited well. For us, the one (small) book have priced in a Lennon factor and the fact we were in the cup final.
If we were much higher priced there would only be bets for us- saves moving.

It`s William Hill, hardly the holy grail of bookmakers. As I say, tiny limits, they`ve never been able to handle sharp business.
The odds will change.........
