Something does seem wrong with choice of font and text-size in some places. If you look at other Urban Zoo sites, they don`t suffer this issue.
https://www.celticfc.com/
https://www.hibernianfc.co.uk/
In a normal web browser, I have found simply using Ctrl+ helps with some of the smaller text stuff.
Getting the font and text-size right in various places may happen as the club learns how to make use of the platform. I don`t know if someone at the club has direct access to the underlying configuration files or whether they need to communicate requirements to the supplier.
Note the hamburger icon top right (three horizontal lines) which opens up for site navigation when clicked. It took me a while to realize this.

I agree it looks a bit of a dog`s dinner.
Font sizes are all over the place, it`s a website for a 2nd tier Scottish football team- the information needs to be accessed quickly, and clearly, but this is not.
The majority of people including myself access via mobile, so it needs to be crisp and clear.
I`m not going to much about with settings, all I want is highlights and game info on upcoming games as well as a few historic things
Interviews with manager, players etc tend to be fairly banal for good reasons - players rarely say much of interest.
It`s been a disappointment, it really looks like it`s been done by a small kid

The club have shared numerous "tiny links" that end up taking you to "404" errors. Very poor so far with this new company.

You cannot purchase a stream monthly/season unless you are out of the UK using a foreign IP address.
I am going on holiday abroad and wanted to watch games, I have to purchase a monthly pass when there or use a VPN to buy whilst at home.

The links on the facebook page don’t open either. Nor the best to negotiate either.

That`s where I usually get the errors from.

I can only open the Facebook links if I’m logged into the club website. 🧐

In addition to the above issues, and somewhat related, has anyone found out how to unsubscribe from the monthly renewal of DAFC live?
I`ve been told to contact the club shop, which I did but received no reply.
Seems crazy there is no way to unsubscribe? I`m not on holiday every month of the year....

In the Fixtures section, you can buy tickets for Livi away, but not Raith at home. But if you navigate further down to tickets then click on home tickets, you can buy tickets for the raith game.
In the Team section and s lot of the thumbnails, half the players have their head, or the top of their heads cut off.
Shop items (without filtering) display 16 items and a constant spinning wheel (multiple devices on a gigabyte connection
No filter in Edge for so items (or at least I can`t find it). This and the above point means you can only see a handful of items in the club shop via Edge.
I could go on...

It looks like they might have stretched the way the top banner is built, but is similarly configured in some ways to the Hibs one.
Unfortunately as we have more stuff to put in less space it looks weird.
Hopefully they can get it sorted as it currently looks a mess.

Ironically it was designed by a company called `Simplicity`.
If you want to read how to present a diabolical dog`s dinner as a glowing success:

I think you are misunderstanding, that Simplicity report is 3 years old.
it was referring to the previous website that had been running for 12 years without any issue.
Previously the fixture information and stories were integrated with COWS, ParsTV and DAHT. The club shop never had any reported problems either.

Agree with the comments above on the font sizes and the general navigation being poor.
Any explanation yet as to why the highlights have been hidden from YouTube?

My apologies to `Simplicity` - whose excellent website preceded the current pig`s ear.
You`re right Brian, the report I hot-linked does show some images of the previous website. However, at the bottom it shows `copyright 2026`, which suggested to me it was still current.
Yes, I`ve got it now - hence others` references to `Urban Zoo`. They are the company responsible for the current website from which I quote the Pars club statement:
`Our New Digital Era
We`re delighted to unveil our new official website, developed in partnership with Urban Zoo ...This represents a significant investment in how we communicate with supporters and marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter in the club`s digital journey...
The new platform also introduces DAFC Live, our brand-new streaming service, replacing Pars TV as we move towards a fully integrated digital experience...
We`re equally delighted to welcome broadcaster Steven Mill... [etc]...helping us deliver a fresh and engaging matchday experience for supporters from afar.
Supporters can also look forward to...even greater connectivity with both the website and DAFC Live.
If you haven`t already done so, I`d encourage everyone to register for the new website... [for] access to enhanced features, exclusive video content and a more personalised experience.
As with any major digital project, there will inevitably be some small teething problems as we continue to develop the platform. We`d ask for your patience and understanding while we fine-tune the system.`
--------------
Well, there`s a piece of Abraham Lincoln-ism if ever there was one. (viz:`You can fool some of the people some of the time.`)
I agree with you Brian that the previous websites worked well - so it`s hard to figure the reason for this latest -`fresh and engaging matchday experience`. Money no doubt, and if it means that some supporters get excluded - tough luck.

I emailed the club and eventually got a reply saying if you log in, go into your account menu and click on `purchases` you should be able to cancel from there.
Unfortunately the system is apparently unable to load my purchases so I`m no further forward and the club haven`t responded to my latest email about it.

I hope the club are taking this seriously as they are running a fine line with the Digital Markets and Consumer Act with making cancellation quite so difficult.
I know the club isn`t dodgy but they are opening themselves up to allegations of being amateurish.

I know it’s more effort and again you shouldn’t have to do more effort to get what you want than before but I’ve noticed that if you do click the link through Facebook then click the 3 little dots I think in the top right corner you can click open in external browser and it opens up properly I don’t know if Facebook get money through opening links on Facebook and that’s what they are trying to stop by doing it this way but it seems pointless

That’s good to know for the future. I just logged in to my account on mobile and went to purchases and can see a manage subscription button next to the details of my Live pass in there. I didn’t click it so can’t confirm if it works but it seems it is there.
Overall I’m not impressed by the website at the moment though. The shop not working should be a concern for them given the potential revenue. But if you open it on mobile, you often don’t get a filter and all you can see is a selection of items and a spinning wheel that never loads anything else. Poor if one of those items doesn’t happen to be what you’re looking for.

It`s about as bad a website as I`ve seen, It`s just a website, so no idea why there isn`t some urgency to get this worked on. As I`ve previously stated it looks like a kid has worked on it, or when websites were in the infancy and there were some mad stuff.
Not sure about pars live TV as I`m back home now, but certainly a website is first port of call- we are not Real Madrid - there should be open access for it, not subscription.
What do fans and others look for in a Scottish 2nd tier (even top tier) website? 1/Easy access and info to buy tickets 2/Previous highlights 3/results fixtures etc this sort of thing- it`s pretty limited.

I thonk the format and layout isn`t very intuitive, but the content is better. You really just want easy and clear navigation to what information you are looking for.
