Just a heads up for anyone wanting out the house tonight.
Both Kelty and Cowdenbeath are at home this evening. 745 kick off.
I`ll probably head to Cowdenbeath
£10 and £5 for concessions.
745 kick off

Freddie Rowe seems to be a regular at CB for Edinburgh City since he went there on loan. Is that his usual position?

Some good news re Adam Livingstone of Forfar -

"Following last night`s injury, Adam was taken to Ninewells Hospital where X-ray results have not shown any major damage," Forfar said in a statement on Wednesday.

"Adam was kept in hospital overnight but we have been advised that, all being well, he should be allowed home later today."

I`d noticed that as well. The lack of youth/reserve football makes it harder to follow people`s progress, but I`d always considered him an attacking left-sided midfielder. I think that is where he featured for East Fife when he was on loan earlier in the year.

I did notice that he came on as LCB in the pre-season game at Kelty, which seemed odd, even allowing for the fact that we made about 9 substitutions.

Ewan McLeod is one who I intitially thought was a midfielder but seems to have played more as a right back (and even in the heart of the defence in the Fife Cup final).

I guess part of a young player`s footballing education is learning to play different positions, but the strategy of loaning them out means they have to conform to the acceding club`s short term requirements, rather than what might be best for them.

You`d hope there would be some discussion before the loan was agreed as to what position the loanee was likely to play but the new coach is in the driving seat I suppose. Better to play out of position than not to play at all I suppose but we can always recall him if we`re not happy.

Danny Dobbie is getting great reviews from the Stirling fans in the games he’s played so far.
