Josh Edwards still not around the Charlton squad this season despite being a regular starter last season.

Must have been a bad one he picked up if he`s still crocked.

He seems to be scoring 7.5 ish for his performances on average so far this season. His overall contribution rather than his performance in his final third seem to be why he starts eaxh week.

I assume he went to Wigan to be nearer ā€œhomeā€ and of course a wage rise. What puzzles me is the fanfare he was given when he signed including the No 4 shirt. Yet he’s had a total of 6 minutes so far this season (not counting the U21 Aston Villa match). I suspect his career is stalling. The pressure is certainly on Caldwell, I see he was yellow carded early in the game.

He`s been there 6 weeks, maybe a little premature to say his career is stalling. Maybe isn`t fit or picked up a knock in pre-season which delayed him or 1 million other reasons.

There’s always fanfare with new signings. Not sure why he wouldn’t have one when others do. He wasn’t to know he wouldn’t get as much game time especially if he’s now injured.

No sign of JCM in Wigan squad at home to MK Dons. Last night Otoo was at LB for Rotherham and Ngwenya came on in extra time after Rotherham hsd scored a late equaliser at Tranmere.

Mullen hasn’t featured since for Wigan, being named only to the bench during a 4-0 thrashing at home by Stockport and wasn’t on bench v Sheff Weds last weekend.

Has been called up to Scotland U21s so don’t think he is injured.

Nizzy scores for Aberdeen again away to Hibs

Giggling at BBC text updates
They wrote ā€œā€¦He sclaffs it and it goes towards the penalty spot, where Nisbet takes one touch and finishes on the swivel.
Lovely finish.ā€

Followed by a rubbish copy by Callum Davidson…

ā€œIt lands at Kevin Nisbert and on the swivel from about eight yards, he just swivels it in.ā€

I took my grandson, who lives in Easter Ross, to County v Alloa on Saturday.
Hammy absolutely wiped out the second smallest player on the pitch after 5, got severe talking to from the ref, another humdinger after 22 minutes, then two wee fouls before half time. No booking, and his passing and tidying up work was good.
Highlights: Brian Graham missed two sitters (but then scored a good penalty. County`s 2nd and 3rd goals were rockets into top corners. Hammy set up and scored the 4th. Alloa`s 92nd minute goal was scored from the half way line. two tickets, for over65 and under 18, were £10 and £5.
Hammy is a good signing for County, wish him well.

I don`t know if he ever played in our academy but 17 year old local lad Alfie Hutchison seems to be doing really well for Newcastle U18s. I think he`s on 7 goals in 6 games across the league and cup this season.

Newcastle are my English team and it feels like I receive goal notifications of him scoring every week! Hopefully he can keep improving.
