 Paris FC v Lyon

Not really Pars related but after watching the game on DAFCLive this afternoon, I`m not at the Stade Jean Bouin in Paris for the Paris FC v Lyon game.

Both teams have 7 points after 3 games of the Ligue 1 season and Paris FC are managed by Liam Rosenior, ex Chelsea boss!

I moved over to Paris last week for a new job and thought I`d take the chance to catch a Ligue 1 game. €22 for the ticket!

As you are in Paris, I recommend A Year in the Merde. Brutally funny. I was crying with laughter at a couple of the situations. A true story with embellishments probably but you will recognise all the traits soon enough.

Enjoy! Remember to learn how to give the French style “Couldn’t give a f*** shoulder shrug”.

I got the book as a present before I came over but haven`t had a chance to start it yet. Will definitely get round to it!

I got the book from one of my French pals from Le Mans. So even the French enjoy it because they know how true it is.

!

I guess though, that this actually is Pars related as current Dunfermline Athletic director, Alsharif Faisal Bin Jamil, was on the board of directors at Paris FC. From what I gather he helped attract the investment from Bahrain that transformed the club from a mid table second tier to where they are now. There`s hope for us yet
