James Bord reportedly agreed a deal to buy Bordeaux for 1 Euro. The debt to the creditors agreed to have been halved to approx. 13 million Euros with a 12 year payback. The club has an average attendance of around 12,000 in the 4th tier. They attracted double that in the top tier.

Bordeaux more likely to make money in bigger transfer fees than us, might we see Abdulai head there?

Is Bordeaux in the 4th tier (Indiapar) or the 6th (DA-go)?
I`m easily confused. 🤔

They are now 6th tier after being demoted again this summer and it being upheld earlier this month.
On reading more into it, at the start of this month Sparta Capital (Bords company), appear to have pulled out of owning the club now. Thats based on the Wikipedia entry on their club page.

Sorry yes relegated to Regional 1 (6th tier). They played in National 2 during 25/26 (4th tier). The FFF upheld their exclusion from the National leagues a few days ago. Financial approval was still needed befire they can start tgeir Regional 1 fixtures.
