Just heard that Dave passed away today
Our condolences to his wife and family.
Dave worked for the club for many years.
Dave has played a major role in DAFC.net in recent years and he will be sadly missed.

This is awful news to take in. Met Dave so many times on the press door at EEP and we socialised a couple of times over the years too on .net nights out.
When I read his post on the All I want for Christmas thread I felt very sad. He didn’t get his wish sadly.
My sincerest condolences to his family and friends.

So sorry to hear this sad news. I got to know Dave through Schools Engagement and not only was he a lovely man and a huge Pars man, he went out his way to help all the classes who came to the stadium.
Condolences to all his family.

Wherever he has gone i`m sure he will be dishing out cards with a devilish smile. Glad to have known and shared moderating duties with dave. A rapier wit and master of understated sarcasm. Will miss you pal.

If I could respectfully ask, Admin, once everyone has had a chance to leave their condolences on this thread, that ir may be printed off / sent to Dave’s family so they may take some comfort from it at this very sad time.
Ty.

I didn’t have the privilege of knowing Dave personally, but he was clearly very well regarded around East End Park. The loss of any dedicated Pars fan is a very sad occasion. My sincere condolences to Dave’s friends and loved ones.

I didn`t know him but I recognise him from the photo on COWS. He was another of the small band of people who make it possible for a club like ours to function on a match day. RIP.

Dave was a true gent. So helpful, nothing was too much trouble for him. I`ll miss his welcoming smile at EEP. Taken far too young.
Sincere condolences to his family. RIP Dave.

Taken far too soon.
I`ll miss our chats and texts.
He took me under his wing as a newbie admin and showed me the ropes and how to deal with the "raspers".
Sincere condolences to Daves family and friends.
RIP mate.
It was a pleasure knowing you.
