With all these people having posts of where there Pars tops have been this summer, could someone (DAFC.net, Game or the club) not have some sort of competition with the furthest travelled Pars top this summer or the strangest location????? Something along these lines?????
Or a section in Game with photos of Pars fans abroad over the summer?????
I think it would be a good ploy to promote the club abroad and good fun for the fans, go abroad get your photo taken in your top, send it off........what could be easier????

UnderPar what is the end to that song? Cos it annoys me. Its obviously not nick-nack pady-whack. SO what is it folks.
Good Idea Pompey but some folk ( who can do that sort of thing) might make a fake and send it in. Pour example get a picture of the Taj Mahal and put themself in front of it.

Pars fans here,
Pars fans there,
Pars fans who are old enough to know better walking around on holiday in football shirts as if they were kids
Something like that anyways ;)

You'd have to be pretty desperate for a signed pars top to go to all that trouble.
Here's my entry by the way:

pjpars- i'm already down the Falklands mate and heading to South Georgia next week ha ha. But doesn't mean I have to win, i was thinking more about getting my photo in the match program ha ha.
Brian- it would be an honour and a privilege to be the judge if you are happy with that.

Well, one of my Daughters will be going to Canada in September, then on to Virginia USA, then to Austen USA, then to Italy, Sweden then home. She will be taking her Pars top with her, so I'll get her to have a photo taken in each place she visits. BTW, her friend in Austen is an Italian American and he is the proud owner of a Pars strip and a Scotland strip.

Steaua, off the subject, but if you mean Austin Texas, tell your daughter she absolutely has to go see the bats coming out at dusk from under Congress Street Bridge over the town lake. It has to be seen to be believed. Oh, and eat at Papadaux Cajun restaurant!

parsj,
It is Austin in Texas. I will let her read your post. She is staying with her friend's family, so no doubt they will have a lot of places for her to visit.

"I'm hoping New Zealand will be one of the furthest surely?"
Na i'd still win by going to South Georgia, it's the furthest south you can go before hitting the antartic, but hey New Zealand is still pretty far. I doubt i'd win my own competition though :o(

On a slightly different subject, Kelty has been seen at the South Pole.
A company based in Colorado, USA makes outdoor gear including rucksacks and tents. When Michael Palin made "Pole to Pole" he couldn't sleep inside the American Base because he didn't have official permission. They show you him going in a tent, with the Kelty brand on it.
Not quite a Pars strip, but interesting all the same.
What next, an Oakley t-shirt?

A few years ago I lived in Dunedin in N.Z. and was the furthest away Par at the time but not so now as I am in Canada, however I may still be the one clocking up the most mileage this year as I have been to Mexico then to France then Portugal back to Mexico then Canada, Switzerland, Portugal, England, Portugal, England then Canada. In a few weeks I will go down to Costa Rica then back to Canada and in October Scotland.
