A few thoughts on last night...

Five o'clock at East End and on to the bus
Even after other pick-ups only 28 of us
Down the M80 then the M77
Would it be hell, would it be heaven?

Into the ground, gosh where will we sit?
Slag Jolly Jim J, the fat old git
Pars push forward, looking quite good
Jim's got the team well in the mood

1-nil to the Pars! McCunnie's the man
We jump up and shout as loud as we can
Push forward again, more goals to seek
Back of the net! 2-nil thanks to Deek

Great start for the Pars, how good can it get?
Little we knew, hadn't seen anything yet
3-nil to the Pars! It's Youngy again
Stay at home fans must be in pain

We couldn't quite believe it, the rest of the half
No wonder folk think Brian is having a laugh!
Half-time now, a great cheer hit the sky
Now time to enjoy a braw Killie pie

Second half now, don't do anything silly
But then, aw naw! A goal for the Killie
Hold on now, could be a bumpy ride
Please Pars just don't let things slide

But then great running, and passing so slick
Derek's at the far post to complete his hat-trick
The cry comes up from the throats of our guys
Asking Killie, 'Are you Falkirk in disguise?'

On easy street now, os so we thought
But Killie come back, our defence is caught
A stupid own goal, oh God here we go
All back to defend, as time goes so slow

An extra four minutes? Yeah thanks, referee
And then Killie score to make it 4-3
But the team survived, despite another scare
In the next round of the cup, Pars will be there

Skip back to the bus to head home to our beds
Emotionally wrecked, our nerves torn to shreds!
Tonight our team was packed full of stars
Thank you big Jim, well done to the Pars

It's football, Jim, but not as we know it
