I've just read about it and to be fair it's not the snp who are proposing this. It's a transport group who are urging the Government to implement it. It's also not a direct tax on drivers but businesses who have car parking spaces at their premises. It would be a good idea if public transport in this country was adequate but it's not. I've just checked from a personal point of view. I work 11 miles from home which takes 15-20 minutes in the car. To use public transport it would mean me using 3 different buses which would take 1hr 15mins. There aren't services that would cover certain shift times either.

One good point about it tho, there are millions of car drivers who'll hopefully vote this lot clean out of parliament entirely.
As was said, this isn't an SNP proposal mate.
