What i do support is a strong two party system.That isn't happening just now.The democratic party is being pulled so far left it's quite scary.There are very few candidates this cycle that are centre left.
Quite strange as that is where the vast majority of their voters are.

The democratic party is not even as far left as the UK labour party. So not very left at all. The republican party seems even more right wing that the UK Tory party. A two party system is not a good system as is being shown just now in UK. You need a much better spread of political views.
UK and US are poor politically

The majority of Americans you mean I presume. And in US cases that would be far right and centre. I see little evidence of a real left in the US even near the centre.

Yes.Most folks aren't extreme in their political views.The Democratic party in the US aren't echoing the views of the middle class.
They are increasingly aligning themselves with the 22 million illegals in the US and identity politics.Traditional liberal voters are being turned off and although they dislike Trump he at least addresses their existence.
