The Telegraph began to expose the great Westminster expenses scandal.
Now, despite efforts to suppress it, details are emerging that 377 official credit cards have withdrawn for various reasons/periods of time.
Some well kent names.
Dear, dear, probably more muddles than fiddles, but just when trust is already at its lowest, and cynicism at its peak.

Was that 10 years ago...
I always remember I was called to jury duty for a benefits fraud case (someone disadvantaged wee lassie had let her boyfriend start to stay over ...which meant she wasn't entitled to claim single person benefit)... But that was at the time when all these politicians were milking the system illegally and then would go on TV with a cheque to pay it back which made it all go away.
Always angered me that - the difference in how two people were treated for essentially the same thing

Someone who fiddles benefits for say 40k will get jail time, yet an MP who fiddles 40k will get a slap on the wrist. Disgusting.

Honestly CDF, you expect people to engage in discussion with you when you disrespect them like this? You have a lot of growing up to do - it doesn't really matter where you are on the age spectrum, you need to learn to control your base instincts.
I would shudder to think what would happen to you if you carried on as you do on this forum in real life.

This thread is hilarious. If I didn't know better I would have thought I had stumbled into a discussion between a group of 10 year olds. As soon as anyone starts to name call they just lose the argument. So in this thread there are a lot who have lost....🤣🤣🤣
