Not since the early 80's anyway. Used to go back to the office on a Friday very drunk. Even got a phone call once from my boss to tell us all to get back to the office as the branch manager was on the prowl.

My favourite time was my first day in a new job. Got taken to the pub for a few hours at lunchtime and regaled about tales of yore including folk getting taken to A&E absolutely plastered on a work trip and being triaged as a "Code Brown".
Multiple tales were ended with the phrase "but we're not like that now", and at that very second someone barged the doors open Wild West style and shouted "xxx xxxx has just been arrested in the office"
This bloke had been pulled over for suspected drink driving the previous night but ran off. Only flaw in his plan was that he was driving his own motor and his fiance was in the car. Didnt take Columbo to work that one out.
There was one bloke who had exactly the same one pint wobble as Gove.
