Thankfully the current club staff from groundsmen to manager, all the players, and all the fans aren’t gonna vote for them.
The shame of such a connection will fade through time.

This only reinforces the idea that he was a bell end.

I believe he studied English law and it seems Dundee is the only place he could 'Practice'
only 11 make the team, the rest can just but dream.

Hope he stands in Dundee and gets less votes than a Falkirk fan has fingers.

Dundee - the only constituency (back in the 1920s mind you) to return a Temperance candidate !!!
No less than Winston Churchill was voted out.

Scrimgeour, the Temperance candidate in Dundee, had a pretty long history of standing in the constituency so there was a personal vote involved.
Churchill went off in the huff after being losing and never ventured into Scotland again. He showed, according to Willie Gallacher the Communist Party candidate who came third, sheer contempt for the vote. It was quite a tight vote between the three parties, back in the day when there was a genuine choice.

I take it you mean he never ventured into Scotland again to seek a parliamentary seat?
And although my eyes were open
They just might as well be closed

He certainly ventured into Rosyth Dockyard and Donibristle!
Don’t know if he nipped into the Goth though...
