If he was that bothered about having Indy votes he could have been pushing for the Greens as the 2nd vote before Alba even existed so why has it taken until now for him to make the argument?
Looks more like a push for Salmond than an appeal for more Indy votes as they could have been making that argument since Holyrood opened.

It's definitely a push for Independence, and ALBA in particular.
Other than election time Independence is far down the Greens agenda. I've already received the Greens first campaign leaflet and no mention of Independence whatsoever, in fairness no mention either on their success in getting bills through the Parliament threatening Woman's rights etc.
Good Luck if you think the Greens are likely to get you Independence before ALBA.
Imagine sending Patrick Harvey down to Westminster to negotiate Independence.

Why would Patrick Harvey be negotiating independence? The negotiations would only begin after a successful referendum which is unlikely to happen with Salmond`s input and if the yes side happen to overcome that massive handicap then it still wouldn`t be Harvey leading the negotiations.
And although my eyes were open
They just might as well be closed

I was assuming Nicola would still be hosting her daily chat show.

Tenruh, once independence is achieved you can vote for the Scottish Conservative Party or any of the no other right leaning parties that will no doubt pop up. Scotland isn`t as left leaning as many think in my opinion and due to the proportional voting system in an independent Scotland I`d imagine a centre coalition will usually hold sway.

So transphobia then?
Not to sure of the terminology bit confusing to me tbh
Denise Findley is a known transphobe. She is also pretty homophobic.
She has previously compared transwomen to paedophiles. So has also claimed that homosexuals want the age of consent reduced to 10.
She is absolutely toxic.
If she is involved with ALBA there is absolutely no way they are getting my list vote.

Aye she had to resign from the snp before the last election because of anti semitic tweets.

I`m not totally educated enough on the whole trans debate but I found this comment in the article to be a bit ridiculous;
"SNP are indeed paying lobby groups with your money to try to reduce the age of consent in Scotland to 10.
We wish we could be confident that the danger of that actually happening was only theoretical"
Aye of course that`s what the snp are trying to to. If that`s what you really think and you support this woman in writing that then may I suggest you stop telling people to vote snp on the constituency ballot. Surely independence doesn`t mean that much to you that you`d give any sort of support to a party that wants to do that. Or maybe this Denise Findlay is conducting an exercise in hyperbole.
And although my eyes were open
They just might as well be closed

Assuming the above comments were directed at me, at 16.58 sadindiefreak wrote Denise Finchley (Findlay)may have claimed that homosexuals want the age of consent reduced to 10, within the context of which it was written it may have read that she actually supported that viewpoint. The wings article was added to clarity that it wasn't something she supported.
All other comments you make don't require a response.

Ahh yes I see my mistake now. I thought that Wings article making those scandalous suggestions against the snp was written by this Findlay woman. It was written by the Stuart Campbell.

Patrick Harvey would be no more involved in Westminster negotiations than Salmond would if we voted Yes.
He's also more of a stand up guy (by political standards at least) than quite a few politicians including Salmond. I've seen nothing from ALBA that would make me want to vote for them.
Salmond already had a crack at Independence and the bottom line is that he blew it.

Greens don't even mention Independence in their campaign leaflet which I received this week. maybe they just forgot to include it as they have prioritised it of lesser importance.
That said they don't mention any of their recently successful bills they got through Parliament either.
