 no politics on podium

i see the olympics have come out and said no politics on the podium...

yet they will fly a nation state`s flag, play their anthem as the athlete is competing representing that nation state - what`s more political than that?!?!?

Para-athletes can use their voices to campaign for social justice at next month`s Paralympic Games in Tokyo - but not while on the medal podium.


Guess they don`t want it at the medal ceremonies But ok elsewhere
