David Amess MP has died after being stabbed at his constituency surgery.
Tighter security to follow for all MP’s I would think, face to face privacy and confidentiality at risk?

Probably will have to be increased security, at least during the surgeries. More details will emerge in time when an mp is murdered in cold blood while performing an mp`s duty it`s hard not to think it may have a political angle.

And although my eyes were open
They just might as well be closed

Someone has been arrested and charged with his murder and the preparation of terrorist acts so I guess this case may be sub judice and hence it may be unwise to speculate on motivations or actual actions in this particular instance.

I note that Police Scotland will be speaking to MSPs to discuss personal security in addition to further action being taken at Westminster. Local councillors will also be affected.
