This is a TV series that never ends. This week, it`s the latest indictment of Trump. And doubtless, there will be another one next month. Inevitably, that will fizzle out, too, just like the other couple of thousand crises that have enveloped this horrible man since he announced his run for the presidency a century or two ago.
Each one is set to bring him down, and each one fails.
You try to stop listening to the endless chatter, but, like a drug addict, you get drawn back into it. And each time, the voices grow louder and angrier. Hate fills your screen, and the longer you watch, the more you can feel the veins in your neck get tighter, your heartbeat gets faster, and your blood pressure rises to an uncomfortable level.
Something has got to give some time. This series has got to come to an end, somehow. But how? Logic would point to a dramatic end. Who would bet on a peaceful conclusion to this series? Surely, no one.
As each day passes with a new Trump crisis, the political tensions in America rise, the noise rises, and the hate rises—no wonder the odds strongly favour this drama ending in violence.
A "Red Wedding" scene on a grand scale? I hope to God not, but who would discount it amidst all this insanity?
